Scrapyard Scramble
The aim of Scrapyard Scramble was to create a top-down collaborative game within a tight deadline to gain experience working to industry standards.
Scrapyard Scramble is a 3D couch co-op game that is played from a top-down perspective. In the game, a trans-solar corporation has received permission to dump its waste in your solar system. You and your friends must work together to turn this trash into treasure and earn enough money to pay for the license to be revoked.
My role in this project was UX/UI Lead.
My main responsibility was to lead my team and be the main hub for communication between designers programmers, and artists, while also being one of the main creative forces behind the project.
Overall, considering the drawbacks and disadvantages we faced, I am happy with our outcome and happy that it seemed to show that everybody took something from the project.
I think a lot of us agreed that it helped us learn how to communicate in a big team
